Free lattes, cake and activities for the kids!

As part of the WestSide Baby Community, we thought you'd want to be the first to know that we will receive 200,000 diapers thanks to Kimberly-Clark's Huggies Brand tomorrow, Wednesday June 23 at 11 am.

Join us!! We are located at 10032 15th Ave. SW Seattle 98146. We are just south of the Dollar Store and behind White Center Chiropractic. Please park on the street.

Ever wonder what 200,000 diapers looks like?
We have! Come join us to see for yourself! A big semi-truck is scheduled to arrive at our little facility in White Center at 11 am loaded with diapers! We've lined up containers in our parking lot, a fork lift and pallet jacks and can't wait to celebrate this amazing gift.

While we gave 200,000 diapers out in 2009, we've never seen that many all at one time. Along with 9 other diaper banks across the country, we've been talking with Huggies about diaper need since last fall. The donation arrives not only because of the obvious need but, at WestSide Baby, we believe these things happen also because of the incredible community support we have. Huggies wants to be a part!

Come on down tomorrow between 10-12 and receive a free latte! Kids can have an Italian Soda treat.

We expect there to be some media coverage of this event. If it's easy for you, please throw on something RED and join us. We want Huggies to know how much the entire WestSide Baby Community appreciates diapers.

Because the truck will be arriving at 11am, you may consider coming a bit before or after that time.

Kids get Cake
While supplies last!
We'll cut a cake to celebrate once the truck is unloaded. We're hoping to have enough for all the kids (and maybe a few lucky adults too!)

We are working on getting the fire department to stop by for a bit subject to availability. Feel free to call us in the morning if that is of interest to you.

We'll have sidewalk chalk and coloring pages on hand to occupy little ones for their short stay here. We do ask parents to help us keep little ones inside the courtyard and out of the way of machines in the parking lot. We'll keep the gate closed!
