(FRI) Westfield Family Friday
A series of free monthly themed WFamily events that take place on the second Friday of every month. These events target families with children ranging in age from 5 – 10 and are planned for the months of June through October.

(FRI) Outdoor Bounce Fest at Loyal Heights Community Center
The little ones will love the opportunity to, literally, jump into summer. Dress in your fave Hawaiian-themed outfits and try out the various and sundry bounce houses, game stations and more. (SAT/SUN) Free Fishing this weekend - Just in time for the sun! Oregon and Washington is having free fishing in any waters open to fishing this weekend (June 12 & 13) — no license required!

(SAT) 5th Annual Morgan Junction Festival
Time: Saturday, June 12, 11am to 7pm
Place: West Seattle, Morgan Park & the parking lots of Beveridge Place Pub and Zeeks/Feedback Lounge.
Come to the 5th Annual Morgan Junction Festival! The Bite of Morgan is returning and we have a full schedule of music and performers in the Park, including The Bubbleman. We hope you can join us for a fun day of music, crafts and vendors and food. Here’s the line up for both the music stage and the park performances.

Make a playdate with the Olympic Sculpture Park—and carpool if you can! Celebrate summer being just around the corner with a magnificent family festival all about native plants and local talent. Live music, art making and park tours will fill the afternoon.

(SAT) 6th Annual Tanner Jeans Memorial Bike Safety Rodeo
The TJMF, in cooperation with the City of Snoqualmie Police Department, will be holidng the 6th Annual Tanner Jeans Memorial Bike Safety Rodeo. This is the largest bike safety rodeo in Washington State and is free to the public. Last year's event had over 1,000 participants. The rodeo will continue to provide police officer-assisted bike safety instruction, free bike helmets to those in need and a free bike inspection. Participants will also receive a t-shirt and a certificate after completeing the safety course.

(SAT) GPS Treasures fun in Bellevue
Here's your chance to try out geocaching, a fun hobby that's great for families to participate in - no matter how old you are! Head to the Mercer Slough Nature Park this Saturday at 11:45am where you'll be given a GPS unit (just for the activity mind you, not for keeps!). You'll search for surprise items hidden around the area using your unit and get to see and learn more about Mercer Slough and geocaching. Here's some info if you're interested, and space is limited to 30 people. Join us on the second Saturday of the month for an interactive hour of hands-on learning about the Mercer Slough. We will cover a variety of topics for all ages to enjoy. Donations are welcome for participation in this program.
Workshops are 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

(SAT) Safari Splash-tacular
Kids age 3 to 12 can participate in fun-filled activities that give them hands-on experience in several aspects of water safety, including practicing first aid, digging for coins in an “ice cave” and learning about hypothermia, a swim in the Leisure pool and more. King County Library staff will promote the summer reading program, Safe Kids Campaign of King County South will sell properly fitted lifejackets. Parents must accompany ages 6 and younger in the water.

(SUN) Farm Days and Play Dates at Fox Hollow Farm
Play with the horses, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks, bunnies, kittens, and more. Enjoy games on our large ball field, bounce on the HUGE inflatable castles, explore Issaquah Creek, and drive miniature John Deere trucks and tractors. Whatever you choose to do, it’s a great way to have a memorable outing with your little ones. Bring a picnic or there will be hotdogs, kettle corn, cotton candy, and drinks available. No reservation required, just show up!
