Vignettes based on the immigration stories of the families of The Island School’s fifth grade class. Now in its third year, Paved With Gold tells the unique story of this new group of talented performers. Written and performed by The Island School Fifth Grade. (SAT) Free Comic Book Day!
To get folks excited about reading comic books, specialty shops across the country participate in national Free Comic Book Day. There are ten different comic books available (while supplies last, of course) and you and your kids can just walk in and get one, FREE! This year, the free comic books include Spider-man, Betty and Veronica, Super Dinosaur, Kung Fu Panda, Green Lantern, and more.
