(FRI) The Little Gym of West Seattle
We will be having a Halloween Carnival from 4-7 pm (4-5:30 for Parent/Child and 5:30-7 for Pre/K and Grade School ages). There will be carnival games, activities, a costume parade and prizes. In addition, we will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit West Seattle Food Bank. This event is free and open to the public. (California SW/SW Myrtle)

Welcome to the Snohomish County Cupcake Fair's blog! This year, Snohomish County's biggest cupcake-themed party will be held on October 23, from 2 to 4 pm, at Mill Creek Foursquare Church (1415 164th St SW, Lynnwood, WA). Cupcake Fair began in 2009 as a celebration for Amy Patterson's 40th birthday, but we had so much fun, we decided to do it again. It's a way for many of us to give back to the Arc of Snohomish County – an organization that has helped countless families of children with developmental disabilities.

Help install final fencing at Kent’s new off-leash dog park, and get the park ready for the 1 p.m. grand opening. Tools and gloves supplied, extra shovels and pruners welcome. Wear sturdy shoes or boots and dress for the weather. Lunch provided for volunteers and treats for dogs. The first 100 people and dogs at the opening receive a doggie bandana. Pre-register by Oct. 20 (click volunteer on the Web site).
