The Fall/Winter Eastside Creme Brulee kids Event is Thursday October 14th-Saturday October 16th at the Pickering Barn in Issaquah. This sale is being held in conjunction with the Sassy Mei Boutique show with free childcare by the Issaquah Gymboree play and music!

(FRI) Scary Stories @ Bellevue Community Center
Want to hear some scary stories? Have a scary story you want to share? This Friday night at the South Bellevue Community Center, prepare to be frightened as writers read their own scary stories out lout during Stage Fright. If your child (or you!) have a story to submit, you can share it, too! It all happens this Saturday from 8:30-10pm.

Twice each year, EMOMs holds its h-u-g-e sale of gently used (and some new) items for infants, children, and pregnancy. This is not your usual garage sale! (SAT) WestSide Baby car-seat collection event
Located at HQ in White Center, 10 am-2 pm
Any car seat will be accepted at these events. We'll figure out if they can be reused or must be recycled. To be reused, car seats must be less than 6 years old, never been in a car accident and never been washed with harsh chemicals. Event kicked off today as WestSide Baby, Waste Management and staff and grateful clients from Neighborhood House and Southwest Youth and Family Services gathered with the 50 seats we've already accumulated.

(SAT) Picasso Family Festival
Celebration of Seattle Art Museum’s Picasso exhibit includes art-making, entertainment (Garfield High School Jazz Quintet, Yellow Hat Band, Recess Monkey and Caspar Babypants), kids’ tours, music and magic. Ages 12 and younger have free admission to the SAM galleries when accompanied by a paying adult. Adult admission to the galleries $15, ages 12 and younger free with paying adult.
The first 300 adults accompanied by children 12 years and under get in free. Tickets for the Family Festival will be distributed at 10 a.m. on First Avenue and University Street. Available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

(SAT/SUN) Sneak over to Renton to watch salmon as they travel up the Cedar River to their spawning grounds. Volunteers will be on hand to give you the skinny on the salmon's life cycle, and activities are planned at each location: Renton Public Library, Cedar River Park, Riverview Park, Cavanaugh Pond and Landsburg Park.
