Seafair Fleet Week: Seattle Waterfront, Pier 30: Seafair is proud to welcome the men and women of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and Canadian Navy each year to Seattle's Elliot Bay waterfront. The public is encouraged to take part in Seafair Fleet Week by riding in the parade of ships or touring the vessels during their stay.

Beat the Heat Splash Day
When: Wednesday, August 4, 2010, 1pm
Where: Issaquah Community Center lawn

Celestial Viewing
If the sky is clear, the Theodor Jacobsen Observatory dome is open for viewing celestial objects through the telescope. Additional exhibits and activities are in other rooms and outside. 9 to 11 p.m. first and third Wednesdays through September. Donations appreciated. Limited parking available in lots N1, N4 and N5 (parking fee may be charged).
