National Night Out activities in Bellevue, Issaquah, Renton, and Sammamish
This Tuesday, August 3, is National Night Out, an evening where your community gets together to learn more about crime and drug prevention in your area. This is the 27th annual event and three cities on the Eastside are holding events for citizens to participate in. If your city isn't holding an official event, create your own (sure, it's short notice, but it doesn't require much!). The point of NNO is to create awareness of crim and drug prevention, increase neighborhood spirit, strengthen police-community partnerships, and above all, to let criminals know your community isn't tolerating illegal activities and to get out.
