Youth circus visits Edmonds

(TUES/WED) One thing has been certain about July in Edmonds for the past 22 years: It brings a visit from the Wenatchee Youth Circus, which spells f-u-n for local families.

The circus troupe, made up of roughly 50 members, will return to Edmonds Civic Center, at Sixth Avenue and Bell Street, for three shows in the coming week, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, then 1 and 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The fast-paced antics of these 5- to 19-year-old performers will include daring moves on the trapeze, tight wire and unicycles, among other things.

Tickets cost $4 for adults and $6 for ages 2 to 16. The family rate is $19 for two adults and up to four children; or opt for a group rate, for 10 or more people, $3 per ticket. Those under age 2 can attend for free.
