What: Take a glide on an old-fashioned vessel, compete in a coloring contest, and go on a treasure hunt.
Why: Little sailors will love demos on rope making and celestial navigation.

(SAT/SUN) GeoWoodstock
For the tenth anniversary, large crowds of geocachers are expected at their annual gathering – GeoWoodstock VIII – held this year at Remlinger Farms in Carnation on July 3rd. Some geocachers may, while in the area, want to visit HQ of the largest geocaching website in existence – Groundspeak Inc, located at 501 North 34th Street in Fremont. In anticipation, on July 4th, from 11a – 3p, Groundspeak will host a carnival, free and open-to-the-public, at Evanston Plaza (Evanston Ave N & Burke Mill Road) for the geocaching community, as well as those interested in finding out more.

(SUN) Visit Imagine Children's Museum and make a patriotic hat to wear for Everett's "Colors of Freedom" parade! The museum is offering admission deals today: Get in FREE from 11 a.m.-noon, or receive two-for-one admission from noon-4 p.m. Military families get in FREE all day. Sunday, July 4, 1:00am-4:00pm

(SUN) What better way to celebrate the 4th than a Naturalization Ceremony?
Witness more than 500 citizenship applicants from more than 75 countries being sworn in as new U.S. citizens. 11 a.m. concert, noon ceremony.

(SUN) Planet Happy Toys Dress Up Patriot Party
We will be making red,white and blue top hats, bracelets and flags to wear inside or sport around town. After we create, it's time to PARTY! We will provide healthy snacks, beverages and dance music for a truly independent party experience. 2914 NE 55th St, Seattle. FREE. (10:30am-5:00pm)
