From November 13th until Christmas Eve, Swansons will feature Santa's Live Reindeer! A tradition to truly treasure. Dasher and Blitzen will be here every day until Christmas. Bring the family for a magical moment they'll remember forever!
Feeding times daily at 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. Come on in and meet our curious friend, Curley the Camel, along with his roommate Moe, a miniature donkey.

7 Large Gingerbread creations are on display at the Seattle Sheraton's hotel lobby from Nov 23- Jan 2nd. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the beneficiary and receives cash and check donations in the on-site donation boxes.

Seattle's neighborhood light show. On Park Road Northeast, residents have been decorating their homes with glittering lights, jolly snowmen, and blinking reindeer since the 1940's. Lights and holiday music run from 4:00 to 11:00 pm daily, starting after Thanksgiving and finishing on New Year's Eve.

View gingerbread houses created by area businesses and community groups at KidsQuest Children's Museum's Gingerbread Lane at the Bellevue Hilton. On Dec. 4, local celebrity judges announce the winners and local schoolkids perform holiday music.

(12/3) Great Figgy Pudding Streetcorner Caroling Competition
Enjoy music by over 40 groups of colorfully dressed carolers (ranging from the traditional to the inspired to the "huh?") on the streets around Westlake Center, as they compete for prizes in categories such as "Figlanthropy." At 5 p.m., catch pre-Figgy entertainment by lead performers from The 5th Avenue's "A Christmas Story: The Musical" and Caspar Babypants. Teams perform between 6:15-7:15 p.m., and the Seahawks Blue Thunder Drumline performs at 7:15 p.m. Finals and award ceremony begin at 7:30 p.m. The event benefits the Pike Market Senior Center and Downtown Food Bank. It takes place at Westlake Center and Pine Street between Third and Seventh avenues.

(12/5) Come Home for Hanukkah this December
Nothing says Hanukkah like gathering with your family and friends, as you light the menorah, sing songs, and feel the warm glow of the candle light. Coming "Home" for Hanukkah, a community-wide Hanukkah celebration will invoke those same warm feelings. Bring your family and join friends and community members on Sunday, December 5 from 11am-2pm for an entertaining and heartwarming Hanukkah experience at the Stroum Jewish Community Center on Mercer Island (3801 East Mercer Way, Mercer Island, WA 98040). This interactive afternoon will engage the entire family in a home inspired celebration. There will be unique experiential and art activities for kids, entertainment and food (of course!) Highlights include a PJ Library® Story on Stage, performance by the Center Stage teen theater company, experiential art activities, a family mitzvah project, even the dreidel game will be played. All of this will culminate with a community candle-lighting ceremony. Families are welcome to bring their own menorahs and candles as well.
