(FRI) Kids Day at the Market and Polly-Glots Concert
Take the kiddos to the Phinney Farmers Market for tons of racing fun and a super-fun concert.
Decorate a zucchini, add some wheels, and race your zuke down the Zucchini 500 ramp.
Learn how to raise backyard chickens, visit the mobile coop, see a mini-farm in the back of a pickup truck, and join Gary Paine for an afternoon sing-along. Hola! Bonjour! Is that a Polly-Glots concert we hear? From 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm, share fun (and very catchy!) songs in French and Spanish with the Polly-Glots.

(SAT) Eastside Baby Corner Pants Party
There's a party happening this Saturday, September 10, from 10am to 1pm, and not only will it be fun, it will be for a good cause! The party happens at Eastside Baby Corner in Issaquah, where there will be food, cupcakes from Cupcake D'Lish, games, arts and crafts, and kid-friendly entertainment.
All you need to do is bring a pair of pants for a child in need. Eastside Baby Corner is trying to collect 1000 pairs of pants for children starting school- pants are one of their most requested items, but also one of their biggest shortages.
So bring pants for boys and girls, size 5-14 to the Pants Party! It will be fun and will make a difference for lots of great kids.

(SAT) Family Festival: Salmon Return
Arts and crafts, live music performances, Northwest Native American storytelling, and more activate the park throughout the day. The theme of this event is green, and environmental partners have been invited to share their activities with families. Kids will have opportunities to bead jewelry, create salmon print flags, get their face painted, chalk the sidewalk, take an art tours created especially for kids, and play games, all while learning how to protect and improve Seattle’s environment.

Japan comes to Bellevue College for a weekend! A two-day program of Japanese cultural and educational events for all ages.
This 14th annual matsuri includes 2 full days of on-stage Performing Arts, Martial Art demos by local dojo members, Puppet Shows based on Japanese Folk Tales, Tea Ceremony demonstrations, 80+ Exhibit booths, Koi Show, and Japanese food booths. Browse through “Nomi-no-ichi … a Japanese style flea market” to make a lucky find! Meet with Aki Matsuri Mascot and her friends!
