(THURS) Summer Concerts at Hiawatcha: Caspar Babypants on August 25th
Beginning July 28th at 6:30 PM running through September 1st, each Thursday evening, neighbors and friends bring a lawn chair, picnic, and a blanket and gather. We have an amazing group of local artists for this years Summer Concert Series and an eclectic mix of music and talent for all to enjoy. The August 11th show will take place down at Alki Beach, east of the Bath House. All other shows will be held at Hiawatha Park. Best of all, it's FREE thanks to our event sponsors!

(THURS) Thursdays Nights at Olympic Sculpture Park

5K fun run/walk ($20 to $25), 3-on-3 basketball tournament, paddling and boating activities, music, healthy food and cooking demonstrations, vendors and more. Free shuttle buses from several community centers.

· A main stage featuring Recess Monkey, the Seattle Storm Dance Troupe, Flamingo Dancers, Glee, Hawaiian dance, Zumba, a drill team, hip hop dance, Capoeira and tap dance.

(SAT) Seattle Paddle for Autism Awareness!
The Paddle for Autism Awareness is the Global Autism Project's signature fundraising event, which pairs children with autism and their friends and families with experienced kayakers for what we like to call kayak “rides.” It’s a really fun community event that has an outdoor family component. This year we will have kayaking, music, food, activities, a raffle, and more! FREE, online registration is required.

Kidgits are going back in time and exploring the prehistoric world of dinosaurs!
Pick up a discovery map and search the mall for your very own dinosaur egg. On the way you will meet the Reptile Man and his collection of turtles, lizards, and even snakes. You’ll also take home a photo with a dinosaur from the JCPenney Portrait Studio, try a tasty dino-bone snack, decorate a dinosaur mobile, and more.
