All aboard the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad for a special holiday train run, where your little conductor will love every part of the 70-minute round trip journey.

(SAT-MON) Bumbershoot
Comedy, dance, art, poetry, theater, film, visual arts and music on many stages. Food, arts and crafts, parades and spectacles. Youngershoot offers entertainment, film and activities for kids. See online tips for taking children to Bumbershoot. 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 4 through 6. $22 to $50/day, free ages 10 and younger with adult. Three-day passes available. Accompanied children 10 and under do not need a ticket to enjoy 99% of Bumbershoot; however, every person entering the Mainstage requires a ticket, regardless of age. If you would like to take your child into the Mainstage, you may purchase a Mainstage Upgrade onsite during the Festival, as available. Please note, the Mainstage has a limited capacity, and has the potential to sell out in advance of Bumbershoot. Catch shows by Caspar Babypants, Johnny Bregar, Brian Vogan and more, plus hang out in the Kids Pavilion (from 11 to 6 each day) for activities and music by Radio Disney!
All children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Dragon boat races, vendors and a chance to try stand-up paddle boarding or outrigger canoeing (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.).

(SAT) Fall Car Show at Country Village in Bothell
You may not hear about a car show and think, "Wow! How fun would that be?" but I promise, these are actually a great family-friendly event to attend. The 8th Annual Fall Car Show happens this Saturday from noon to 4pm at Country Village in Bothell. Stroll around and check out a wide variety of cars. When you're done admiring the autos, walk around Country Village and do some window shopping and let the kids play!

(SAT) Sensory Friendly Film
Families affected by autism and other disorders can enjoy a film with lights brought up, sound turned down, no previews or ads. Bring your own snacks and feel free to move about. Today, Nanny McPhee Returns (PG). $4 to $6.

(SUN) Roots Family Picnic and Family Day at NAAM
Annual outdoor picnic is a social gathering in support of closing the generation gap to strengthen family and community ties. Indoor activities include art projects, live entertainment, kids’ games, open mic, workshops, bouncy toys and more at The Northwest African American Museum.

(MON) Jetty Closing Activities
