annual "families of multiples" garage sale (shoreline)

From Craigslist: The amazing bi-annual Seattle Families of Multiples Kids Clothing & Equipment Sale will be held Saturday, April 24! Tell your friends and neighbors with kids or people who are pregnant so everyone can stock up!

Saturday, April 24th, 2010
9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Aurora Church of the Nazarene
1900 N 175th Street
Shoreline, WA 98133

Only cash and (local) checks accepted.

Over 50 families of twins and triplets selling gently used, name-brand, season-appropriate children's clothing and equipment TO THE PUBLIC. Everyone welcome!

Bring your friends, your neighbors, and tell your pregnant friends and other parents in your schools and playgroups - this is not a sale to be missed!

The pricing varies - some is very cheap ($1-$2 for gently used and brand name clothing in excellent condition) and some is more expensiv. It depends because our members tag their own stuff. All the other items too are very reasonably priced and we try very hard to keep quality high. There's lots to choose from - come early because the line begins to form about 1/2 hour or more before the doors open.

Clothing sizes are from preemie to pre-teen and also maternity clothes. You will also find toys, books, bedding, strollers, activity toys, cribs, high chairs, potty chairs, safety items, bikes, gates, shoes, bath toys and other items, feeding supplies for babies and toddlers, indoor and outdoor play equipment for kids, walkers, boppies, parenting books, DVDs, videos, computer games, stuffed animals, play kitchens, car seats (maybe an extra for grandma or a babysitter?), bike trailers and more. The actual selection each time depends on what our members have to sell. Some years we have a large selection of a particular item, and other years we have none. It really depends - but the only way to find out is to come!

Come early for the best selection, and bring a laundry basket for easy carrying of your items! Yes you can bring your stroller, but it does get very crowded to maneuver down the aisles. We have a hold area and can help you out to your car if you have a lot of stuff.

We have this sale twice a year and many people return year after year to get great deals and stock up on the next season's wardrobe. Don't miss it!
Mark your calendar and we'll see you on the 24th!

hungry girl

I am a big fan of the Hungry Girl website. But they just came out with a 1-2-3 Easy Recipes book that I think would work great for kids too! They use practical grocery store ingredients, but in an easy and healthy way! Check it out online or a local bookstore near you. It just debuted at on the New York Times Bestseller List at #1!
